Sarah Sanders, Red Hen, and Social Engineering by the State

This will be seriously politically incorrect.

The management at Red Hen, the Virginia restaurant that booted Trump press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has all the right in the world to deny service to any person it does not want patronizing its business.

It is illegal in many states to this, especially based in skin color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 makes it so.

Three jurisdictions forbid discrimination based on political affiliation—Washington DC, Seattle, and the Virgin Islands.

According to the Law & Crime website, if “establishments in D.C. take a cue from [Red Hen], they could be held in violation of D.C. Code Section 2-1402.31, which bars discriminatory actions against people in whole or in part due to characteristics including race, religion, nationality, sex, age, and more, including political affiliation. Violations can result in punishments including court-ordered corrective action or monetary penalties.”

If you own a restaurant or any other “public accommodation” in DC, you cannot “discriminate” against people holding political opinions you disagree with. You are bound by law to serve Ku Klux Klan members and Antifa terrorists alike.

It was Thomas Jefferson who said the only moral commercial transaction is one truly voluntary on the part of the buyer and the seller.

The ideas of Thomas Jefferson—principal author of the Declaration of Independence—went out of fashion many years ago. According to the Identity politics crowd, his wisdom is the wisdom of a privileged white slave owner.

The liberal social engineers busy at working destroying the Constitution believe the exercise of natural rights—the rights you are born with—permits racists, homophobes, and sexists to spread their poison throughout Hillary Clinton’s village. Natural rights are an excuse for privileged white heterosexual males to act deplorably.

Now that the shoe is on the other foot—a “privileged white” was denied service for the crime of working for the president of the United States—it will be interesting to see what the response is.

For these folks, application of the law is predicated on “diversity.” It revolves around “protected groups” of people designated by the state, people said to have been oppressed for centuries by evil white slave owners and Indian killers.

According to the Identity crowd Trump is Hitler, a racist, a child abuser, a pervert who had sex with a porn star and soiled a bed Obama slept in. It is “justice”—as one tweeter put it—Sanders was denied service.

The alt-right MAGA supporters want to punish the Red Hen for its behavior. MAGA tweets call for a boycott. This is certainly their right—unless the boycott target is Israel—but the effort is not likely to be effective. Democrats may respond by packing the restaurant every night with comrades from the rank and file of Nancy Pelosi and Chuckie Schumer’s Resistance.

In a more sane and rational world, every property owner would have the freedom to exercise the natural born right to deny service or goods to any person for any reason. When government steps in and tells you what you can and can’t do with your property, you are reduced to the status of a landless serf at the mercy of the state.

I’m afraid we’re at the point now where far too many Americans believe the state should be the final arbiter in personal matters. Decades of social engineering have resulted in a dumbed-down public, citizens that agree the state has the right to use violence against those who nonviolently resist its authority.

The Sarah Huckabee Sanders Distraction

Over the last dew days, social media has obsessed over a decision made by the manager of a Red Hen restaurant in Virginia to show Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family the door.

“I just served Sarah Huckabee Sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner kicked her out along with 7 of her other family members,” staff member Jaike Foley-Schultz said on Facebook.

Dems, libs, and progs pushed a tweet by Brennan Gilmore of the nonprofit green group Clean Virginia sky-high after the incident.

“@PressSecretary got kicked out of The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va tonight. Apparently the owner didn’t want to serve her and her party out of moral conviction,” Gilmore said.

Moral conviction?

While this moral conviction wasn’t explained, it is obviously a reaction to the Trump administration’s child separation policy. Following an outcry over the practice—which Democrats supported during Obama’s reign—Trump signed an executive order reversing it.

Trump’s fumbling response did virtually nothing to quell the acrimony. Social media was once again alight with hatred for the president and his besieged press secretary.

MAGA keyboard warriors went on the offensive, calling for a boycott of the restaurant and a public flaying of its manager.

Thus another weekend’s social media feed dominated by what should be rightfully considered a minor incident and a political triviality.

This is how political dialogue works now. It is dominated by emotion whipped up into a froth by a corporate media that does propaganda work for the state.

Meanwhile, serious issues—endless war and a bubble economy ready to pop—are either ignored or given short shrift and spin by a manipulative propaganda media reading from government scripts. All of this is highly orchestrated and choreographed.

The Sarah Huckabee Sanders kerfuffle was slipped into place soon after Rachel Maddow cried on-air for the children of separation. Maddow should win an Oscar for her performance.

TIME magazine’s latest cover features a photoshop job of a distraught child—she has nothing to do with illegal border crossing mothers—crying at the feet of The Donald. TIME should win the Edward Bernays Prize for Outstanding Propaganda.

Millions of Americans now believe Trump is a child abuser in addition to a Hitler and racist cavorting with and taking orders from Vladimir Putin.

Trump’s incessant tweeting—often aimed at those who have bruised his enormous ego—fans the flames of distraction and keeps the propaganda circus rolling along.

Donald Trump is the biggest enabler of the distraction.

More grist for the midterms. Democrats weaponized the child separation policy. It makes no difference Trump flipped the policy with an executive order after his daughter and wife urged him to think about the children.

Breakers up ahead, swiftly moving to swamp the shore.

If Democrats take back Congress in November—and there is a distinct possibility this will happen—there will be hell to pay for conservatives and Republicans.

The Mueller investigation will soon become the busy work of junior prosecutors in the basement at the Justice Department. It was a sloppily contrived take down that fell apart the moment it left the used car lot.

Meanwhile, new distractions are being incubated. The Mockingbird media will churn out more innuendo, lies, big fish stories, and fairy tales to buttress the ongoing effort to take down Trump and return America to the care of elders like Hillary Clinton.

Hate Trumps Love: Red Hen Restaurant Has Sign in Window With MLK Quote About Love Turning Enemies Into Friends

The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia that kicked out Sarah Sanders Friday night because she is President Trump’s White House press secretary has a large sign in one of its windows proclaiming that love can make friends of enemies.

The exact quote by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. displayed by the virtue signaling Red Hen reads, “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend”

The Washington Post noted the sign in an oblique photo that rendered the sign illegible but included the quote in the caption.

Clear images of the sign were posted to Twitter by “Donna@DGP603”.

Red Hen owner Stephanie Wilkinson told the Post about the “love” she and her staff did not use to make an “enemy” a “friend” of Sanders.

“Several Red Hen employees are gay, she said. They knew Sanders had defended Trump’s desire to bar transgender people from the military. This month, they had all watched her evade questions and defend a Trump policy that caused migrant children to be separated from their parents.

“Tell me what you want me to do. I can ask her to leave,” Wilkinson told her staff, she said. “They said ‘yes.’ ”

…“I was babbling a little, but I got my point across in a polite and direct fashion,” Wilkinson said. “I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation.

“I said, ‘I’d like to ask you to leave.’ ”
