National Emergency? It’s Not the Border

Trump has declared a national emergency in a last ditch effort to get his wall built on “public” and private land.

The reality of poor Central American campesinos crossing the southern border in search of free stuff in return for voting Democrats into office is overshadowed by another national emergency, one few want to talk about—the national debt.

After that puppy implodes, there will be millions of born-and-bred Americans screaming for free stuff at the expense of the “one percent,” that is to say your garden variety millionaires, not the 0.01 percent.

Ask Jeff Bezos how this works. His company hauled in record profits and paid zero income tax. Ask Bill Gates, the second richest man in the world after Bezos. Like the Rockefeller clan before him, Gates set-up a foundation to protect his immense fortune. Now he’s doing God’s work pushing vaccines to lower world population, a goal he shares with the globalist aristocracy and its predatory financial class. There’s too many of us and this is a problem for the one-worlders. It looks like the solution is to eventually starve us out.

Trump’s billion-something dollar wall will naturally add to the real crisis—out of control government spending and a titan-sized debt. A few days ago, the Treasury Department said the national debt has reached further into the stratosphere, now surpassing $22 trillion. Of course, this figure doesn’t include “unfunded liabilities.” That figure is said to be around $211 trillion and it is entirely possible the number is a low ball.

Right now the cost of interest on the national debt is $343 billion and this will soon rise to $555 billion. This bankster-created trap will keep us—and our children, grand children, and their grand children—locked in unpayable debt long after Donald Trump and members of Congress have shifted off the mortal coil.

This is unsustainable and sooner or later the bottom will fall out of the economy, ushering in society-wide poverty and misery, a Greater Depression. If you think this is all happenstance, think again.

“It was no accident. It was a carefully contrived occurrence,” House Banking Committee Chairman Louis McFadden said during the first Great Depression. “The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so they might emerge as rulers of us all.”

The national emergency has little to do with immigrants flooding over the border. If that were the case, the problem could be eliminated in short order by refusing “public services” to non-citizens. If the carrot were to be removed from the stick, most of these desperate and long-impoverished folks would stay home.

Trump: Staying in Syria for Israel

Poor Trump. He keeps making an idiot of himself.

The latest case: Syria. Trump said the troops will be coming home. But that promise has suddenly changed, as I knew it would.

The troops will stay in Syria, he said this weekend.

So there it is. The US is in Syria for Israel, to watch Iran. Congress wants the troops to remain and Congress is owned in part—a large part—by Israel and its radical Likudniks, including Trump’s son-in-law.

Trump: Dazed and Confused

Donald Trump tells us he wants to put an end to forever war, but this doesn’t include Iran and Venezuela.

He wants to end the Bush wars, subsequently carried over by Obama, and start his own wars, one for Israel and the other for bankers and transnational corporations training a covetous eye on the world’s largest reservoir of oil.

None of this has anything to do with democracy. It’s about control of natural resources, gold, money, and populations. In the case of Iran, the objective is to topple the mullahs and install a neoliberal and Israel-friendly government.

Meanwhile Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, have voted to keep troops in Syria and Afghanistan in direct violation of international law. The vast majority of Americans want an end to these wars, but consensus is no longer required, and is in fact scorned when it is noticed at all.

Congress does not represent the people, who are held in contempt by the ruling elite. Congress represents the interests of banks (as the “bailout” revealed), corporations, and in the military-industrial-surveillance complex. Like Macron and the French ruling class, the US ruling class has little interest in the compounded problems of the little people. They exist to be fleeced like dumb animals, which many have become.

Instead of realizing the source of their problems stem primarily from the actions of a corrupt crony capitalist government and the financial elite that own it, they run to the state for protection and redistributed goodies. This can be seen in the growing popularity of socialism among so-called millennials. Many are unaware of the fact mainstream socialist movements are controlled by the elite. Wall Street bankers funded both the Bolsheviks and the Nazis.

Trump’s ignorance and incompetence has allowed the elite to subvert and take control of his administration. Trump is surrounded by insiders, most notably neocons who opposed him during the election.

Trump’s inability to control his administration was more than obvious when the arch neocon Elliot Abrams, who vocally opposed candidate Trump, was selected to be the point man on the destruction of Venezuela. Considering Trump’s thin skin, the demands of his ego, and his willingness to fire those who either criticize his rule, it is unlikely he will ever be able to wrest control of his administration away from the insiders and neocons.

The spectacle of neocons running rampant in his administration demonstrates that this president is not in control—the ruling elite and its cross-pollinated neocons and “humanitarian interventionists” are.

John Bolton’s Plan to Starve Millions of Venezuelans into Submission

It is true Venezuela’s economic problems are in large part due to that country’s socialist command economy, but this overlooks the role played by the United States, the United Nations, and the European Union.

Over the last five years, the US has imposed financial sanctions on Venezuela. It has cut it off from western financial markets and this has resulted in oil production shortfalls. Venezuela is unable to raise capital to address deficiencies in the oil sector of its economy. This situation was exacerbated when the price of petroleum fell sharply around the world. Venezuelan debt instruments are banned by the US Treasury, thus preventing it from acquiring loans to address its severe economic problems and feed the people.

The pattern has become rote. Nations that are not captive to neoliberalism suddenly find they have a terrorist problem. If the nation in question is communist or quasi-communist, no terrorist false flags are required, the evil venality of Leninism and Stalinism are enough to gain consensus for economic warfare followed by a physical invasion if the leader in question does not fall or acquiesce.

Trump’s national security adviser has tweeted in Spanish:

This is unprecedented—Bolton publicly announcing a military coup (usually with hundreds if not thousands of deaths). He deliberately showed off his notebook with scribbled invasion plans, so there would be no question about the agenda.

But that’s how the neocons operate. Lies, falsifications, grandiose claims, and invasions to forcibly install “democracy,” which is nothing of the sort.

Bolton’s “democracy” is doublespeak in action. It’s a thinly disguised euphemism used to obscure the actual objective—the destruction of entire nations, cultures, and societies at the cost of hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives. Untold millions of lives have been destroyed by the sort of “democracy” Bolton is talking about.  It was put into action when Bolton was a toddler.

Let’s get real. Bolton doesn’t care about the people of Venezuela. If he did the US would not be imposing harsh sanctions that are resulting in malnutrition and starvation. Bolton is using the age-old technique of starving and depriving people so they will overthrow the government (this tactic rarely works—leading me to believe it is inflicted out of pure sadism—leading to the exact opposite reaction).

The people know the rule of the elite in Venezuela results in endless poverty and a large underclass of desperate people. This is primary reason they voted for Hugo Chávez and his version of the Bolivarian Revolution. His Bolivarian missions provided access to food, housing, healthcare, and education. Standard socialist nationalization took control away from transnational corporations and banks eager to financialize everything in sight.

At this point it appears Trump’s neocon and CFR wizards will strive to get the military to go against Maduro, who is dedicated to not backing down. Trump may convince (bribe, threaten) the generals to go over to the self-proclaimed president, Juan Guaidó, but there is one very large obstacle—the National Boliviarian Militia and the so-called Peasant Militia, the latter “responsible for protecting poor farmers from mercenary groups organized and financed by ranchers and wealthy landowners,” that is to say the people supporting Guaidó.

“The peasant militia will also assist the regular army ‘against any foreign aggressor,’ wrote Chavez, who has warned that the U.S. military could invade Venezuela in order to seize control of its vast oil reserves,” explains Kiraz Janicke.

“The peasant militias, which are active in rural areas, will complement the primarily urban-based Bolivarian Militias, which were incorporated into the reform of the Armed Forces Law that came into force on October 22, 2009.”

In short, if the US invades, it won’t be a clean sweep like Bush the Elder’s invasion of Panama. It also won’t be a “cakewalk” like Iraq where the army was defeated in short order. It will be guerrilla warfare in a rugged tropical environment, not a sprawling Iraqi desert where there is no place to hide.

Trump’s Latest Neocon Adviser Assigned Task of Overthrowing Maduro in Venezuela

Donald Trump is no different than his predecessors. During the campaign, he said whatever he had to in order to get elected. He promised to close down the neocon foreign wars and also fight the “deep state” by draining the swamp.

Obama also promised to end the neocon wars, but that was said with the same insincerity as his predecessor, George W. Bush, who said in 2000 he wasn’t into nation building and foreign entanglements.

It is now obvious, with the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s appointment of convicted criminal Elliott Abrams as his “point person” on Venezuela, that the neocons have taken full control of Trump’s foreign policy.

“This crisis in Venezuela is deep and difficult and dangerous and I can’t wait to get to work on it,” said Abrams after Pompeo made the announcement.

Recall the role Mr. Abrams played during the Reagan years. He helped fund the Contras in Nicaragua and is linked to the 1982 El Mozote massacre of hundreds of civilians in El Salvador. It was later estimated by a UN truth commission that 85 percent of the abuses during the civil war in El Salvador were committed by military death squads assisted by the Reagan administration.

Abrams has experience overthrowing government’s not following the neoliberal master plan. In 2002, during the Bush neocon regime, Abrams worked on a failed Venezuelan coup. Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez was jailed. Supporters and a loyal military freed Chávez and likely saved him from what would later be known as the Gaddafi method of deposing disfavored leaders refusing to follow neoliberal strictures as pushed by the Council on Foreign Relations where Abrams is a senior fellow.

Rex Tillerson wanted to bring Abrams on board at the State Department, but Trump wouldn’t go for it because Abrams opposed his election and was a prominent fixture of the Never Trump movement. Now that Tillerson is gone—after characterizing Trump as a moron, but for the wrong reason—and neocons Pompeo and Bolton are in place, we can conclude that the neocon takeover of the Trump administration is all but complete. The final act is impeaching or forcing Trump’s resignation so the more amenable (for neocons) Christian Zionist Mike Pence can sit on the ceremonial throne.

“Next time, in 2020, we’ll have had 12 years of Obama and Clinton, Hillary will be in her mid-seventies, Trump will be gone, and a new generation of Republican leaders like Rubio and Cruz and Ryan and Cotton and Haley and Sasse will still be in their forties,” Abrams said in 2016.

Trump will be left to fight off endless attacks by Democrats trying to unseat him. His major campaign promise—to build the wall—will go unrealized and he will go down as one of the more ineffective presidents in US history.

Meanwhile, US foreign policy continues uninterrupted, never mind the minor turbulence of Trump declaring (again) that he will get US troops out of Syria and Afghanistan.

Bolton, Pompeo, and Abrams are in control. The wars will continue, expand—adding Iran and Venezuela to the forever war roster—and the people will be left to stand on the sidelines, ill-informed and distracted by lesser staged events.

“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors… and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do,” said Karl Rove, the Bush administration fixer and former Nixon dirty trickster.

It is unknown at this point what the neocon triumvirate—Bolton, Pompeo, Abrams—will do in regard to Venezuela. For now, the US has declared the “military option” (of murder and mayhem) is “on the table” in response to re-election of Nicholás Maduro. The heavy lifting will be left to the Lima Group—Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and Peru—and these countries may be used to inflict a “humanitarian intervention” on the people of Venezuela.

The Organization of American States has not backed the neocon and Lima Group effort to evict Maduro and return the oil-rich nation to the neoliberal orbit. It cites the OAS Charter of 1948. Article 19, Chapter IV states: “No State or group of States has the right to intervene, directly or indirectly, for any reason whatever, in the internal or external affairs of any other State. The foregoing principle prohibits not only armed force but also any other form of interference or attempted threat against the personality of the State or against its political, economic, and cultural elements.”

For a large number of Trump supporters, making America Great Again means continuing the imperial objectives of the empire—installing preferred satraps (Juan Guaidó in Venezuela) or those tolerable to Wall Street and the Chicago School version of neoliberalism.

The hypocrisy is palatable. Trump and his diehard supporters stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Democrat “Resistance” and the “liberal” media in regard to Venezuela. “It is revealing how the supposedly anti-Trump media have closed ranks and are marching in lockstep with the administration when it comes to overthrowing Washington’s official enemies. The media are not opposing Trump or tyranny; they are enabling it,” writes Alan MacLeod.

There is very little pushback inside the United States over these grossly illegal and immoral interventions. The Trump faithful has demonstrated repeatedly there are few differences between them and the “libtards” when the issue is supporting the financial elite and their crimes.

War becomes “humanitarian” when you put the right face on it. That’s why Obama got away with killing Gaddafi in Libya and destroying Syria while maintaining the empire’s footprint in Iraq and Afghanistan. Like Reagan, he excelled at manipulating the American public.

The Unconstitutional National Emergency Farce

If Donald Trump wants a wall on the border, maybe he can ask Sheldon Adelson to chip in to pay for it. Adelson knows all about walls. His people in Israel built one to keep the Palestinians in their ghettos.

If the corporate news can be believed, Trump will take relief money earmarked for Puerto Rico and Texas to build his wall.

It’s all ego at this point. Trump has been humiliated by his inability to get a wall. It’s personal for him. Trump’s not concerned about a few billion dollars spent on a bad idea that will do little to stop illegal immigration.

Walls don’t stop people. Ask the families of East Germans shot dead trying to scale the Berlin Wall.

If the US didn’t muck around in Central and South America, supporting tyrants and training deaths squads to make investment safe for international banks and transnational corporations, there wouldn’t be mass migration of refugees fleeing US foreign policy.

If the state hadn’t declared a war on drugs—these guys love wars of all stripe—there wouldn’t be murderous cartels, first in Colombia, and now in Mexico. Drug money floats economies, including ours. Wakovia and other banks have made a fortune laundering drug money. Obama supported the Sinaloa cartel and played it off against its rivals, going so far as sending arms to narco terrorists.

Trump’s mulling of a “national emergency” (the pretext set with 9/11) isn’t included in the Constitution. It is an outrageous expansion of the imperial presidency.

There isn’t a crisis on the border—the murder rate here is much lower than say in Chicago or Baltimore—a fact I am able to confirm. I live forty miles from Mexico.

The argument for a wall is quite frankly bullshit. It was a selling point during the presidential campaign. It is now a battle to save face and elevate Trump’s personality. There are several more pressing issues—namely: illegal wars, a bankster manipulated monetary system, and a national debt that will flatten the country… and sooner before later.

Let’s see if Trump declares a national emergency—despite there not being an actual crisis or emergency—and let’s see what else he does with this awesome and illegal authority.

I fear a bit of Caliguia in Donald Trump.

Brian Krassenstein: Cheerleader for Censorship and War

Accused Ponzi scheme fraudster Brian Krassenstein is celebrating the takedown of Gab.

Brian and his twin brother Ed capitalized on the DNC organized Resistance™ and the Hate Trump movement which proliferates on social media and recently resulted in a story at The New York Times conjuring the assassination of the President of the United States (specifically, Zoë Sharp’s “How It Ends”).

Prior to the shooting in Pennsylvania and the takedown of Gab, Krassenstein heralded the freedom of speech. Of course, this freedom—actually a natural right—is reserved for Democrats.

Krassenstein is 30-something and Jewish. He wants to disenfranchise white male senior citizens, all of whom are generalized as misogynistic.

He also cites as a political source the comedian Stephen Colbert. Last month Colbert said Trump’s nationalism is reminiscent of the Ku Klux Klan (early in the last century, Democrats held “klanbakes,” but I digress).

I can’t recall Trump demanding the lynching of blacks and Jews. His son-in-law is Jewish. Trump loves Israel and sojourned there to worship at the Wailing Wall. His primary political donor is a Jewish casino magnate, Sheldon Adleson.

The KKK analogy is simply and deliberatly misleading hyperbole designed to motivate ill-informed Democrats to vote for warmongering Democrats like Hillary Clinton.

I can’t seem to find a tweet by Mr. Krassenstein denouncing Hillary Clinton for her hate crimes, most notably her obscene chortling on 60 Minutes over the savage anal rape (avec bayonet) and murder of Gaddafi in Libya.

Krassenstein panders to the ignorance of progressives. In this tweet, he basically calls all Trump supporters Nazis. I’d wager he knows nothing about Nazis, except they killed a lot of Jews (we rarely hear about the other victims: Roma, political dissidents, homosexuals, socialists, communists, anarchists, none that have thus far exploited Hitler and the Nazis as an excuse to steal land and engage in ethnic cleansing of the sort Hitler advocated under his Lebensraum policy).

Finally, if Krassenstein and his woefully ignorant and hatefully biased comrades manage to get a Democrat dominated Congress and a Democrat president in 2020, very little will change beyond rhetoric designed to mollify clueless Democrats.

The financial tsunami coming—due in large part to Democrat Bill Clinton eradicating Glass-Steagall—will wipe out most small business in America, including Krassenstein’s 3D printing business. No doubt he will blame a Republican minority in Congress.

The wars will continue and Krassenstein and all other establishment Democrats will support this—and short of that, simply ignore the murder of 30,000 Libyans, the arming of Syrian jihadists, and the drone war expanded by their savior and corporatist ideologue, Barrack Obama.

Michael Moore’s Dumbed Down America

Michael Moore had an epiphany while on the road to Rome.

The filmmaker lambasted corporate media for placing more emphasis on frivolous entertainment than hard-hitting objective news.

“If you allow rich corporations to buy up and control most of the media, and then put things on the media that are intended to appeal to the stupidity that’s in all of us, you will have a dumb-downed nation,” he said.

Notice the use of the transitive verb “allow” in the above statement. If Moore sat atop the pinnacle of the state, he would decide what corporations are allowed to do business, and those not. Everything else would be run by a bloated, misfiring, inept, and corrupt state.

And who are these dumbed-down Americans, according to Moore? Those who voted for Trump and those who did not vote at all.

If we follow Moore’s partisan-tilted logic, white males are responsible for installing Trump in the White House. “These are the last days of the dying dinosaur, the old white man who has been making the decisions since the beginning of our time,” he said.

How to make certain another Trump-like candidate never makes it to the epicenter of government?

Get rid of the Constitution, or at least modify.

Doing this, according to Moore, will restore democracy, never mind the Founders were adamantly opposed to democracy and put a Constitution in place to uphold a republic.

Moore wants to take a pickax to Article II, Section 1, Clause 2, now commonly called the Electoral College. Doing so would almost certainly ensure perpetual rule by Democrats. Three of the most populous states—California, New York, and Illinois—would determine the “popular” outcome of national elections.

Not that it matters. Federal elections are manipulated by the ruling elite to make sure only vetted members of the political class are contenders. If you doubt this, take a look at what the DNC did to Bernie Sanders and the Republicans did to Ron Paul back in 2012.

Trump beat this system. It has numerous holes allowing outliers and the disfavored to gain political office as part of the illusion we live in a pluralistic democracy ruled by the people. This illusion is mandatory—it is integral to the above mentioned dumbing-down process—even if it periodically puts somebody in office hated and reviled by the political elite.

Despite hurdles and a deafening chorus of non-objective reporting on Trump during the election, he managed to find his way to the White House. Not because he’s an old white “privileged” male, but because he promised to upend the Deep State apple cart and Make America Great Again. Thus far, he’s done no such thing.

As a superficial intersectional and identity polemist, Moore believes the dumbed-down in America are Trump supporters and troglodyte Republicans, while the enlightened are state and race-gender worshipping liberal and progressive Democrats eager to gut the Constitution.

But here’s what Moore and his comrades either ignore or are so ideologically rigid they cannot accept.

The reason Donald Trump made it to the White House is really very simple: millions of Americans are fed-up with government, its corruption, and service to vested interests, most prominently corporations and international banks, although this is not widely understood.

Unfortunately, they took Trump at face value and believed what he said about America, never mind his obvious inability to process complex political issues or his background as a shady real estate, casino, and hotel tycoon, to say nothing of a supercilious reality TV star who specialized in firing people.

If Moore and the Democrats had their way, Hillary Clinton—the butcher of Tripoli—would be president now. This would have been yet another seamless transition as Obama handed the bloody baton (or cudgel) to Clinton and she continued the secret wars, the illegal and immoral drone attacks, and stoked the flames of war with Russia and China.

Meanwhile, of course, she would dazzle her supporters with endless talk of MeToo-ism and individual rights predicated on gender, skin pigmentation, and political alignment, rights dispensed by the winds of political whim directed by the state.

Beyond the acrimonious and provocative tweets and regurgitation of Fox News talking points, Trump is little different than those he denounces on a daily basis, the “Deep State Democrats” doing the bidding of a financial and corporate elite, the folks who underwrite and steer elections.

Trump is little different than Democrats. He wields the power of the state—stretching the executive out to contorted and tyrannical proportions—to push a flawed MAGA agenda, continue endless wars, same as numerous predecessors, allow the banksters to rule the Treasury and Federal Reserve cartel, and lie about the real condition of a funny money economy and the peril of a shrinking middle class.

Saudis Float Khashoggi “Accidental Death” Cover Story

Because the Saudis can’t deny they killed (possible intelligence asset) Jamal Khashoggi, they will instead make up a story and hope you buy it.

It was an interrogation that went wrong and, you know, they’re sorry about that.

From the NY Post:

Saudi Arabia is prepared to admit that journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed during an interrogation that went wrong, according to reports on Monday.

The kingdom is readying a report that will say Khashoggi’s death happened during an interrogation before being removed from Turkey, CNN reported.

The report will conclude that the operation was carried out “without clearance” and that those involved will be held responsible, the network said, but cautioned that it could still change.

Trump will probably adopt this BS story. He’s not going to let the torture and murder of a journalist get in the way of selling billions of dollars in death merchandise.

Notice this assassination was accomplished without “clearance,” that is to say without a thumbs down by Mohammed Bin Salman.

The New York Times reports:

One person familiar with the Saudi plans said on Monday that the Saudi government was preparing to describe a scenario that would protect the prince from any blame.

Instead of MbS taking blame for ordering the journalist’s murder, an underling will step up and fall on his sword.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the plans. But he said the royal court would soon put out a narrative that an official within the kingdom’s intelligence services—who happened to be a friend of Prince Mohammed—had carried out the killing.

Following this charade, it will be back to business as usual—buying weapons and committing genocide in Yemen with the help of the United States.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Saudi Arabia Threatens to Take Down World Economy

In response to being held responsible for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the fossilized medieval Wahhabi Kingdom has threatened to destabilize the world’s petroleum-based economy.

Here’s the threat posted online by the Saudi Press Agency:

The kingdom affirms its total rejection of any threats and attempts to undermine it, whether by threatening to impose economic sanctions, using political pressures or repeating false accusations… The Kingdom also affirms that if it receives any action, it will respond with greater action.

Meanwhile, the boss of the fount of Saudi propaganda, Al Arabiya, was a bit more blunt.

Turki Aldakhil said Saudi Arabia will respond by igniting “economic disaster that would rock the entire world” if it is held responsible for murdering and dismembering the journalist.

“There are simple procedures, that are part of over 30 others, that Riyadh will implement directly, without flinching an eye if sanctions are imposed,” he said.

Aldakhil also said Saudi Arabia may price its oil “in a different currency, Chinese yuan, perhaps, instead of the dollar.”

On Sunday Trump went on 60 Minutes and Lesley Stahl asked him what sanctions would be placed on Saudi Arabia. Trump said he doesn’t want to endanger the arms deal with Saudi Arabia.

“I don’t want to hurt jobs,” he said. “I don’t want to lose an order like that. There are other ways of—punishing, to use a word that’s a pretty harsh word, but it’s true.”

Jobs. In an industry manufacturing murder tools sold to Wahhabis so they might continue killing babies in Yemen.

Earlier today, Trump mounted Twitter and stepped back from blaming the boy king MbS after talking with his elderly father, King Salman.

Instead, according to Trump, the murder may have been committed by “rogue killers,” whatever that means.

Trump didn’t speculate how these phantom off-the-reservation killers entered the Saudi embassy in Istanbul and accomplished a murder without raising suspicion or protest.

Of course, the medieval torture and murder of a lowly journalist will not be allowed to spoil the special relationship between the military complex and the Saudis or endanger the plan for a “Davos in the Desert,” never mind headlines to the contrary.
