The only conclusion I can reach about Donald Trump is he’s an ignoramus that shouldn’t be anywhere near the White House. This is underscored by a series of tweets he posted on Saturday.
It really is remarkable so few have called him out this. For instance, the United States has the second largest nuclear stockpile in the world and is the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons. This would lead a rational person to conclude if anybody should not be allowed to have nukes, it is the United States.
Israel has several hundred nukes, although we don’t know for sure since they are undeclared. For some reason this not an issue, even though it is a historical fact Israel blackmailed Nixon and Kissinger with its nukes to force the US to send weapons it then used during the Yom Kippur War in 1973.
Decades ago Israel instituted what it calls the “Samson Option” based on the biblical story of Samson bringing down the house on the Philistines. Israel plans to nuke anybody who threatens it. This is said to be a policy of deterrence. No MAD for the Zionists.
I have an old dog-eared copy of Seymour Hersh’s book, The Samson Option: Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal and American Foreign Policy. Nobody talks about this issue these days. Instead, people think Iran is a nuclear threat or a future nuclear threat along with North Korea.
The coiffured ignoramus is at home repeating neocon lies like some demented mocking bird. As I noted the other day, Obama returned Iranian money stolen by the banksters after the Iranian Revolution in 1979. And yet if you ask the average Alt-right Trump follower, he will say Obama gave our money to the mullahs so they can build nukes and kill us and the Israelis.
After he realized at the last minute that attacking Iran would have resulted in a war worse than Iraq and even Vietnam by an order of magnitude, Trump decided to make up for his “weakness” (as the neocons murmur) by piling on more severe sanctions that won’t do diddly to the mullahs but will make the people of Iran suffer all the more.
Trump has to do something if he is going to be reelected. After all, he disappointed Sheldon Adelson, Paul Singer, and Bernard Marcus (they donated millions to his first campaign) by not obliterating Iran, so it is possible they will throw their money at somebody more serious about starting a war that will kill millions, destroy the world economy, and put a final nail in the coffin that was once upon a time a constitutional republic.
