Investigators collaborating with Intellihub have discovered several bullet strikes on the west-facing block wall of the venue that hosted the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival on the night of the 1 October shooting.
Former Houston police officer Bart Medley posted several videos on YouTube on Tuesday which appear to show several bullet strikes that came from the direction of Mandalay Bay.
The ex-cop’s skills came in handy as he tested physical evidence from the crime scene furthering his belief that the angled pockmarks are indeed actual bullet impacts.
“It’s guaranteed,” he said. “I know what I am looking at.”
The rounds appear to have been fired from the direction of the Mandalay Bay possibly from the rooftop of the tram station, as Medley points out in his video.
Additionally, investigators were able to locate a second bullet strike near Gate 1 which tested positive for led, according to Medley.
The second strike is “deep and it’s angulated” and tastes of “lead metallic,” he explained.
